I was born and raised in Philadelphia. It is because if the gun violence my husband and I moved our children to Delaware in 2019. A 17 year old was shot and killed in our former neighborhood in Philadelphia while we lived there and there were 3 shootouts months apart in one year next to our home. We sold our house and moved. Guns are too easily accessible and unfortunately I believe it is a new form of genocide.

Location is one thing, but I believe that we have to shift people’s mindset, and their hearts. For 93 days we will pray for this city while simultaneously coming together in unity for solutions to break the back of gun violence the city of Philadelphia!!!!
