Essence Magazine Celebrate the Ladies of ‘ RED Table Talk’!!

Okay, I know I’m late with this… But the cover the February issue of Essence Magazine was Super-Hot.  I mean three generations of intelligence, fierceness, and melanated beauty!! The ladies of ‘RED TABLE TALK’ killed it!!!

I don’t know about you, but I love, love, love, Red Table Talk. And what a comeback for Jada Pinkett – Smith. I mean seriously, she is the new age Oprah Winfrey. I think when the Oprah Show went off  the air, Jada was like, It’s time I stepped in.   And what a great job she is doing, her subject matters are ones that we all can relate to. And it is genius to only have it on FB. It  really makes it very personal. Let’s face it, the Smiths are winning………..in such a strong, classy and positive way!

Let’s talk Willow Smith, I’m sure I’m not the only one who was a bit worried about her in her younger years. But OMG she has grown into such a loving, super smart, beautiful, young woman.  I mean she is the daughter of Will and Jada Smith, yet she possess this kindness and humility that comes across very genuine….she is like a little twinkle of light………..and she is absolutely gorgeous!!!! She has really found her look with her natural hair……….and sweet heart if you are reading this, please don’t cut it off again;-).Willow is truly super model material. We met her once as a child with her number one hit ‘Whip my hair’ and now we are introduced to her again as a woman, and she is such a breath of fresh air. I know that this woman we see on ‘The Red Table’ will be able to continue the legacy that the Smith family has created and continue create in Entertainment.

Wait a minute –  what about the Grandma, huh!!! Yasss, Adrienne is giving me hope, life and AARP goals…Yasss, 65 is the new 45….at 65 she is in better shape than some 21 year olds I know. On the ‘Red Table Talk’ I love her candidness and transparency.  I love that she has shared her pain and her evolution. Human beings need that. We need to know that we are not alone in our struggles.…….That we are not the first and we won’t be the last, and if our sista can get through it and prosper then so can we.

I want to say thank you to all of the ladies of the Red Table Talk for bringing real, hard, conversations to all of us, right at our fingertips on our smart phones. It’s hard out here, and in the grand scheme of things… It’s true, that we really need each other. And the “Red Table Talk” is doing just that…….. It is what makes the Red Table Talk episodes empowering and healing.
